SOVA Science: The Importance of Tensile Strength
The Science of a Better Day
Many have asked about our Research and Development at ATI ( Akervall Technologies Inc.) Here is some of the science explained.
Tensile Strength
Tensile strength describes the maximum stress the material can sustain before failure. The range of tensile strength of SOVA material* is at least 30% higher when compared to EVA** which is used in most OTC night guards.
* SOVA material (29.11MPa-34.4 MPa) ** EVA material (10.3 MPa-22.3 MPa)
The Tensile Strength of the SOVA material is one example of the SOVA Advantage.
